I hate this pain!
You played me as if I was a silly little game!
Now its over and done,
I thought you were my number one!
I guess I was wrong!

to love we could never find.
Same story, different day
Choking on your love, torn in lies In the end it always dies.
Tonight you've thrown it all down the drain,
I closed my eyes so i wouldn't feel or see the pain.
Just heartaches...heartbreaks....and your smiles were all...fakes!

ReplyDeleteStop what? I call it as I see it... And, that is the point- if you can translate what you feel into print, that is a gift... By the way, I've tried to write poetry, and found that my talents lie elsewhere lol ... I dabble in creative writing, I have loved that venue all my life, and am never completely happy with my work, so I've never published anything. That, is the curse of many of us... We tend to be so self-critical, we can't get out of our own way!!! lol Keep at it, you have talent! And, learn at an early age to get out of your own way!!! love, tman<3

the only problem with me,
was that I'd come to expect,
some gesture, some effort you see....
